I’m back tonight with my entry in the Altnew Inspiration Challenge for April. I just love their stamps and dies.
This card features water coloured flowers from Peony Scrolls and a sentiment from the Label Love set.
Thanks for dropping in. Have a great weekend.
Tonight I’m sharing a card that came from another of my good ideas.
I had a small piece of water coloured paper left over and thought it would look lovely on the Memory Box Butterfly Die. It took a bit more work that I had planned to glue on the matching butterflies.
After finding it in my box of scraps, I decided to make this card. I finished it off with a few individual butterflies cut with the co-ordinating Butterfly Delights Die, a touch of Gold Wink of Stella and a sentiment from Stampin’ Up.
I decided to enter it in the challenges over at Stamplorations. First in the Things with Wings Blog Hop & Linky Party as well as the CAS Card Challenge – Anything CAS Goes with an Optional Pastel Colour Twist.
I hope you like it. The colours are so soft and muted in real life, but they seem to bleach little in the photo.
Thanks for dropping in.
Happy Easter everyone!
I was happy with the way this card turned out. However, it was very time consuming the way I attached the background die because I chose to use the cut out rather than the die itself.
I made it a while ago, and learnt a few things along the way that should make things easier next time. (Maybe!!!)
I used the Altnew Cover Die for the background and the poppy is the SSS tattered poppy die coloured with Copics and of course, a touch of Wink of Stella.
I decided to enter it into Happy Little Stamper April – Anything goes with Dies.
I hope you like it.
This birthday card has a very simple layout with the focus on the cute cupcake. It is another image from the Papermania – Lucy Cromwell – Bunting Stamp Set. I just love all the images in this set. The cupcake is coloured in copics with just a few touches of Wink of Stella!
I hope it looks good enough to eat!
The sentiments are from Simon Says Stamps Circle Sayings and Chalkboard Birthday.
I am entering it in the CASololgy cue card – ICING – challenge .
Thanks for popping in
oday’s card uses the Simon Says Quadrangle Frames cut in black. The inserts were cut from a piece of Distress coloured card I had left over from a previous card. I finished it with a leaf from the My Favourite Things Leafy Greenery Die set.
I had wanted to play with the quadrangles when I saw the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #282. I felt it fitted perfectly. I hope you agree.
Thanks for stopping by
This card is one I loved making for Christmas because it is so clean and simple, yet I feel has that little something. It uses Simon Says Stamps – Decorated Branch die set.
It was just perfect to enter in the Merry Monday Challenge #242 – Add twigs or branches to your Christmas card.
I hope you love it as much as I do.
Today’s card uses the cute little set from Lawn Fawn – Year Seven again. I changed it up this time by creating a Distress Ink water coloured a background and a shaped piece for the piñata to sit on. Adding lots of speckles of colour as well as repeating the tiny surprises from the set and some Wink of Stella finished it off.
I am entering it in the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge – April – Speckled
and Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge April – Anything Goes – Optional Twist – Rainbow.
Thanks for visiting.
