Tonight’s card features pink water coloured hydrangeas. Unfortunately, the photo doesn’t do justice to the beautiful sparkly pink background.
The top panel is cut using My Favourite Things Stitched Basic Edges. The sentiment is from Altnew Fresh Freesia set and the heart trim is Simon Says Stamps Highlight Frames.
I am entering it in the Scrapbook Boutique May Challenge.
Hello! I’m finally back.
Today I’m sharing a card I made for my very special niece for her birthday.
It uses Stampinbella Uptown Girl, Lolly and her Brolly, coloured with Copics. The ‘celebrate’ die cut is from My Favourite Things which was again coloured with copics to match her raincoat. It was mounted on a embossing folder background.
Luckily, it fits with the CAS Challenge May 2017 over at Happy Little Stampers – Rain.
Thanks for popping in
Happy Mothers’ Day to everyone. I hope it was a good one.
Tonight’s card features an white embossed panel using Penny Black slapstick/cling ‘Thinking with Stamps’, which I water coloured with Distress Inks. The sentiment is from MFT Die-namics set.
It is a very simple card, but it does show off the lovely stamp.
I plan to enter it in the Freshly Made Sketches #287, STAMPlorations CAS Card Challenge -Feminine Colors.
Have a good week
I have had some fun playing with today’s card. It uses several mini stamp sets to cover the circle area. I coloured them with Copics and then added Wink of Stella and some Glossy Accents to add more interest to the yummy little images. I’m not sure the photo picks up the shine properly.
The idea started when I received a new little Hero Arts – Lia Griffith mini stamp set. After checking through my stash I found An Impression Obsession LMC181 Cupcakes mini set, Lawn Fawn -Year Seven Set and Scenic Route SRA 338 Party Time Clear Stamp Set which I felt fitted in well.
I am entering it in the Paper Players #343 Challenge – Sweet Treats, Addicted toStamps and More – Anything Goes, CAS-UAL Fridays CFC173 – Pick 6 Birthday Card and AAA Cards – CAS Game #89 Bright & Beautiful.
Thanks for dropping in. Have a great weekend.
My second post tonight is to share a couple of cards I made when I unfortunately found myself in need of some Sympathy cards in a hurry. They feature Penny Black wood block ‘Butterfly Ball’ stamp.
The first is inked in Memento Danube Blue Ink and lightly spritzed before stamping. I made matching strips and mounted it on a card front embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.
The second uses the same stamp set embossed in silver on a piece of watercoloured paper I found in my stash. I like the colour variation.
I decided to enter the second card in the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge – May- Flutter, CASology cue card – Week 247, CAS Mix Up May 2017 – Stamping + Splattering+ Your choice and STAMPlorations CAS Card Challenge – Anything CAS Goes – Optional Feminine Colours.
I’m here to share this card which is a little different. It uses Penny Black wood block stamp ‘The Look of Love’. I coloured directly to the stamp with Distress Inks and sprayed it lightly with water and stamped it several times without re-inking. To me it gives a sense of movement. The sentiment is from a lovely little set from There She Goes – ‘ Everyday Greetings’.
I decided to enter it in the CASology cue card Challenge Week 247 – FLOW, Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge May 2017 – Anything goes – Optional Twist – RED, CAS Watercolour – May 2017 – Flowers, CAS Mix Up May 2017 – Stamping + Splattering+ Your choice and STAMPlorations CAS Card Challenge – Anything Goes – Optional Twist – Feminine Colours.
Have a good week
I hadn’t made a shaker card for ages, so I decided to make this one for a friend’s birthday. It features the dies from MFT Blueprints 26 Set. I kept is simple and used some shimmer card for the ‘ happy’ as well as the background of the balloon and the bow. The vellum strip just gives an added interest.
I thought it fitted perfectly at the MFT Sketch Challenge MFTWSC331 and the Addicted to Stamps and More #240 Photo Inspiration.
Thanks for checking it out
