I’m here to share a birthday card I made recently for a friend who loves cats.
It features Penny Black Slapstick/Cling stamp ‘the lookout’ which I coloured using Copic markers. I then fussy cut the image and mounted in on a brick work embossing folder.
Luckily, it just happens to fit the Inspired by All the Little Things #61 Challenge, the Penny Black and More – June Challenge – Anything Goes and Wednesday’s Creative Inspiration Challenge #277 – Our Furry / Feather Friends.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.
Tonight I have a card for My Favourite Things Challenges.
I used the dies Die-namics Jumbo Fishtail Banner Stax and ‘Hello’ from Happy Greetings. The cute little branch, birds and butterfly are from the MFT ‘I’m Tweet On You’ Set which I coloured using my Copic markers.
I will also enter it in the Paper Players Clean – and – Simple: Feathered Friends Challenge and Happy Little Stampers – Anything goes with Dies Challenge.

My card tonight came from playing around with the idea of the 3 circles in this challenge from Freshly Made Sketches 292.
I decided to make the largest circle a little abstract using some watercolour smooching with Distress Inks and adding a die cut ‘Birthday Circle’ from Simon Says Stamps. The smallest circle uses a small Print Block stamp which I watercoloured using my Tombow pens.
The colours also allowed me to enter it in the challenges from Color Throwdown ctd447, Addicted to Stamps and More – Anything Goes and STAMPlorations CAS Card Challenge – Anything CAS Goes – Twist – Masculine Colors.
See you next time
Today’s card is one I made some time ago.
It uses one of my earliest wooden stamps, Hearts Desire – The Boyds Collection which I water coloured using Tombow pens, then fussy cut and mounted on foam squares. I have such a soft spot for Bears! Lol!
The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up – Heard from the Heart set.
I finished it by adding a double layer of patterned paper with a layer of white in between. They are edged with a Stampin’Up border punch and finished with a piece of ribbon.
It fits well with the Cas-ual Fridays Challenge, CF175 – Use those Pattern Papers.
Have a good week
This birthday card is for a friend’s special birthday.
It uses a very early stamp set from My Favorite Things, Martinis on Me which I copic coloured. I added Wink of Stella on the glass to give it a bit of sparkle. After fussy cutting, I added them to a vellum heart which I attached to coloured tag made using My Favorite Things Abstract Background Stamp. It was white heat embossed and ink blended with Distress Inks (Tumbles glass, Victorian Velvet and Dusty Concord). I then gave it a light spray with Perfect Pearls water to add some shimmer. It was cut with the MFT Jumbo Fishtail Banners.
Unfortunately, the shimmer doesn’t show up well in the photo.
It was made using the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge – #MFTWSC 336. I am also going to add it to the Addicted to Stamps and More June Challenge – Leave a Little Sparkle.

Hi there. Tonight I have a couple of posts to share.
My first post is a birthday card using one of my favourite cake stamps from Tulip Birthday Wishes set by Docraft which I coloured with Copics. I then added Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents to the icing and cake decorations.
The sentiment is from My Favorite Things Chalkboard Greetings and embossed in Ranger Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder.
I decided to enter it in the following challenges: Addicted to Stamps and More -Leave a Little Sparkle wherever You Go, Less is More, One Layer Card -#332 Sweet Things and Seize the Birthday – Toppings.
Today I have had fun with some die cut leaves. This card features leaves from Simon Says Stamps Clustered Leaves die as well as My Favourite Things Leafy Greenery Set cut from white and gold card and vellum. The sentiment is from a Little Darlings birthday Sentiments Set.
I am linking it to the following challenges: Freshly made Sketches 290, Just for Girls #396 – Die Cuts and Stamplorations CAS Card Challenge – Anything Goes – Masculine Colours.
