Hello Butterflies

P1060493 (2)Hi there

My card is made from a piece of distress inked butterflies using an Echo Park stencil I had done ages ago.  I have been trying to decide how to use when I bought my new Hello die from Paper  Roses and here is the result.

Challenges: Freshly Made Sketches 298, Just for Girls Wild Card Week #404 – Something old and /or something new and Simon Says Stamps Wednesday  – Anything Goes.

Thanks

Helen

Happy Birthday

P1060490

Hello there

I’m here tonight to share three cards.

My first is this  birthday card that fits with the My Favourite Things Sketch 342.  The main section uses double colour stencilling using MFT Funky Florals Stencil and Abandoned Coral Distress Ink.  (Sadly it looks more orange in the photo but IRL it is a pretty coral shade.) The raised birthday greeting uses MFT Happy Greetings die. I added Wink of Stella to the raided letters and flower centres.

The top section was sponged in grey and then over stamped in the same colour using MFT Woodgrain Background Stamp.  I then stamped the woodgrain again and clear embossed it to give some shine and interest.

Challenges are: MFTWC342, MFT Color Challenge 73, Wednesday’s Creative Inspirations – Anything Goes and Addicted to Stamps and More – Anything Goes.

Sending Love and Sympathy

P1060487Here I am again.

Unfortunately I needed another sympathy card.  I used this Lillies stamp set which was one of my early stamps but much loved and used.  I water coloured it using Tombow pens after gold embossing. (Sadly the background looks pink but it is really a pretty pale blue wash matching the oval sentiment and first layer of backing. ) The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up.

Challenges: CAS Colours & Sketches #232, The Flower Challenge #10 – Embossing Heat /Dry, Wednesday’s Creative Challenge – Anything Goes and Addicted to Stamps and More – Anything Goes.
