Thinking of You

P1060470 (2)My second card for the night uses these pretty frangipani flowers.  It is another of my original wood block stamps from a local Brisbane designer.

They were watercoloured using Distress Inks and fussy cut.  I added a few splatters of gold and pink for the background.

I am linking it to following challenges:  CAS Colours & Sketches, Freshly Made Sketches – FMS 295, Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge – Summer Sunshine, Happy Little Stampers – Watercolour – Anything Goes and The Flower Challenge – Embossing Heat / Dry.

I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and daughter. Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and have enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and painting. China painting helped develop my understanding of colour and design. Over the last few years card making has taken up a major part of my crafting time as I love to play with new techniques and mediums. Since beginning my blog, entering various challenges has encouraged me to grow my skills and creativity.

  1. Love your card. The flowers are beautiful and the panel of patterned paper is a lovely accent. Gorgeous CAS card! Thanks for playing with us at CC&S this week.

  2. Beautiful card, amazing water coloring and fussy cutting. Love the design with that strip of pattern paper dividing the panel, what a fab detail.
Thank you for sharing with us at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE, hope you play again next time.
