Have an OTTERLY Happy Birthday

P1060543 (2)

Welcome

I’m here to share a fun birthday card I made for a very special  little girl.  It features the MFT Otterly Love You stamp set, coloured with Distress Inks.  The ‘water’ is a small sealed bag holding some blue / green hair gel to give the water a squishy effect. (I’m sure this will be very popular!). I added some coloured banners and a sentiment.

I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and daughter. Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and have enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and painting. China painting helped develop my understanding of colour and design. Over the last few years card making has taken up a major part of my crafting time as I love to play with new techniques and mediums. Since beginning my blog, entering various challenges has encouraged me to grow my skills and creativity.

  1. Hel the ‘water’ is genius – can see that getting a good squishing. Looks fantastic. These otters are so sweet – I found them very hard to resist I must say – and now you’re not helping ha ha. xx

LOVE your otters swimming in the windows, such a clever and creative design with liquid inside … I want to reach through my monitor and touch it!
