Hello Everyone,
This is one of my first Christmas cards featuring Papertrey Ink – Year of the Flowers – Poinsettias. They are stamped and watercoloured in gold Delicatta Ink on both card and on vellum. I bought this set years ago, but it is still one of my favourite stamps.
I stamped one large and two small on white card and one large and two small on Vellum, then fussy cut and layered them onto the front of the card. (The top small flowers have only the inner row of petals). The sentiment from Kaisercraft is stamped inside the card, using Brilliance Lightning Black Ink, so it can be viewed through the die cut window. The dies are from a set called Simply Dies form Catchy Crafts.
Challenges: Addicted to Stamps and More – Holidays, Just Us Girls #415-Window or Peek-a-Boo Card, Paru’s Card Making – A Touch of Gold, Winnie & Walter- WCMD 2017 | Lovely Layers Challenge with Keren, Happy Little Stampers October Watercolour – Gold Twist and Christmas Challenge without the twist and The Cat’s Pajamas – A Bit of Sparkle.
Thanks
Helen
This is beeeeeeeeeeeutiful Helen. No Christmas is complete without a poinsettia card LOL. Love the gold and vellum. How clever to use the die cut to see through to the sentiment.
PS So glad you added it to this weeks challenge at Just Us Girls. Always nice to see your work there.
