Believe in the Magic of Christmas

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas.  I have had the idea for this card in mind for a while and had fun putting it together.  (A little late for this Christmas – a head start to Christmas 2018!)  LOL!

The stars from Hero Arts CL318 and the Simon Says Stamps  Believe sentiment are gold heat embossed.  I then used Cosmic  Shimmer Pixie Powders to add some sparkly colour.

Time to Celebrate Christmas Magic

Hello

I was happy with the way this card turned out.  I started with a  scrap of watercolour paper washed with Distress Inks, that I sprayed with Glimmer Mist to give a shine.  I then used My Favorite Things Vertical Stitched Strip.

The MFT Die-namics snowflakes  were covered in Clearsnap – Mixed Berries Fairy Dust glitter.

The sentiments are from MFT ‘Time to Celebrate’, Verve Merry Wishes (Christmas)  and die cut Magic from MFT Blueprints.

Sparkle on Your Day

Welcome back

Tonight’s card is a quick simple design featuring Winnie & Walter Sparkle stamp set heat embossed in silver onto a stitched rectangle panel.

I then laid down some water in a circular shape around the top of the sparkler and tapped on a few grains of Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powders.

‘Tis the Season to be JOLLY

Here is my next wonderful image I’ve been having fun with … Stampinbella – Rudolph, the Christmas lights and the chicks.  I just fell in love with it as soon as I saw it!

I watercoloured the images using Distress Inks and added wink of Stella and Glossy Accents to add a little something to the lights. The background embossing folder is from  Sizzix.

Beach Santa

Hello and welcome

I have had so much fun playing with some amazing images the last few days.

This one uses  Art Impressions – Tropical Christmas stamp set. Living in Australia where Christmas is always hot, this image just jumped out as a bit of fun!

I watercoloured the images, cut them out and popped them up on a simple background I watercoloured to represent the beach. I used Distress Inks as well as a little white acrylic paint, as well as Wink of Stella on the baubles before adding Glossy Accents to them and the lights around the trees.

The wonky rectangle is from Stamplorations and the sentiment is from Stampingbella – Rudolph, the Christmas Lights and the chicks.
