Time to Celebrate Christmas Magic

I was happy with the way this card turned out.  I started with a  scrap of watercolour paper washed with Distress Inks, that I sprayed with Glimmer Mist to give a shine.  I then used My Favorite Things Vertical Stitched Strip.

The MFT Die-namics snowflakes  were covered in Clearsnap – Mixed Berries Fairy Dust glitter.

The sentiments are from MFT ‘Time to Celebrate’, Verve Merry Wishes (Christmas)  and die cut Magic from MFT Blueprints.

I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and daughter. Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and have enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and painting. China painting helped develop my understanding of colour and design. Over the last few years card making has taken up a major part of my crafting time as I love to play with new techniques and mediums. Since beginning my blog, entering various challenges has encouraged me to grow my skills and creativity.

  1. I love how we can make a cas card look stunning with a scrap of paper and a few bits & bobs. Gorgeous watercolour paper and the snowflakes are so blingy. Love the different fonts/stamps/die for your sentiment. Fabulous card Helen.

  2. Snowflakes are magical in their own right. So this is a perfect sentiment for your card. I love the CAS design. Thanks for sharing with us this week at the Mod Squad. I am so happy that you did.
