Believe in the Magic of Christmas

P1070020

Hi there

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas.  I have had the idea for this card in mind for a while and had fun putting it together.  (A little late for this Christmas – a head start to Christmas 2018!)  LOL!

The stars from Hero Arts CL318 and the Simon Says Stamps  Believe sentiment are gold heat embossed.  I then used Cosmic  Shimmer Pixie Powders to add some sparkly colour.

Challenges:  A blog named Hero 2017/12/challenge – Winter Holiday with Simon Says Stamp – part-two, Stamplorations – December Challenge – Theme and Sketch – Stamps & Gold, Stamplorations December CAS Card Challenge – Optional Gold,  HLS December Watercolour Challenge – Optional twist Christmas, Simon Says Wednesday : Anything Goes and Sugar Pea Mix It Up Challenge #38 ~ Fresh Inspiration

Thanks for stopping in

Cheers

Helen

I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and daughter. Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and have enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and painting. China painting helped develop my understanding of colour and design. Over the last few years card making has taken up a major part of my crafting time as I love to play with new techniques and mediums. Since beginning my blog, entering various challenges has encouraged me to grow my skills and creativity.

  1. Sometimes if the idea is there you just have to ‘go with it’ and what a fun outcome too! Love it Helen! I have survived Christmas and night duty and back on track, except for the horrible nbn thing… it’s all consuming right now and not much fun without the internet and hours of ‘non’ support phone time lol.

    1. Thanks so much Therese. So glad you survived the Christmas period and soooo sorry to hear of your NBN woes. I trust it sorts out soon. I found going into a store was the only way to get things moving! 🙂 Happy New Year! Here’s to a great one full of fun and adventures! xx
