Fabulous – It’s Your Day to Sparkle

When I saw the Scrapbook Boutique February Challenge, I just knew it would be fun to join! I chose to go with the black, gold and sparkle theme.

My card features a cute little fairy mouse from Docrafts – Hot Diggity Dog by Andrea Jayne.  I just love all the fun images in this set! After die cutting a star using MFT Star Stax, I stamped and water coloured the mouse using Distress inks and some gold Delicata ink. I then masked the mouse and added Distress Oxides, which I splattered with pearlised water.

The black card background was splattered with acrylic paints (white, gold and silver), Glitter Angels – Glitter Paint and some random gold embossed sparkles from Winnie & Walter – Sparkle Stamp set.

The MFT Absolutely Fabulous die was cut in gold card and adhered to black fun foam.  The rest of the gold heat embossed sentiment and stars are a combination of stamps from the W&W set and Concord & 9th – Happy Day stamp set.
