Hello and welcome to my blog.
Today I’m here with the new challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday – Kath’s Feminine “Anything Goes” Challenge. I hope you will join us this week.
Recently, I needed a very special 40th birthday card.
I just love these Julie Nutting dolls! As they are a larger than normal stamp, my card is also larger than usual, but I always think this adds to the overall elegance.
I chose to Copic colour this elegant lady and after making a mask for the front dress panel, and stamped Hero Arts ‘Leafy Vines’ in Lightning Black Brilliance Ink to add some subtle detail.
The sentiment is from SSS ‘Big Birthday Wishes’.
To finish, I added a strip of gold and a wider strip of black glitter paper.
Thanks so much for stopping by and please head over to our blog to check out the inspiration offered by the rest of the Design Team.
Happy creating
Cheers
Helen
Love those Julie Nutting stamps too. How gorgeous this one is with the colour choice. Classy with that tiny yellow/orangey bodice. What a fabulous finish with the bling on the side.
