Gold – Happy Together

 

Hello and welcome

Welcome to the October Watercolour Challenge at Happy Little Stampers. Each month we have a fun twist for you to use if you wish or it can just be a free anything goes watercolour.  This month the twist is ‘gold’.

My card for this challenge features Altnew’s ‘Happy Together’ flower stamped in Delicata Golden Glitz Ink on white card and then watercoloured in the same ink. After fussy cutting, it was added with raised tape to a black panel with splatters of gold and white paint, cut with Cutplorations Wonky Rectangles die.

This panel was then added to a white panel cut with the larger wonky rectangle die, and then  to the card front.

The sentiment was a gold die cut using Simply Dies, layered up with 3 layers.

I was pleased with the way the card turned out.  I hope you like it too.  Unfortunately, it is difficult to truly appreciate the lovely sheen and glitter of the gold IRL.

The front panel features a Tim Holtz die. The tree is gold heat embossed and fussy cut. The sentiment is from Kaisercraft.

Welcome back

This week I am thrilled to be hosting the new challenge – Masculine  – “Anything Goes”  Challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday Blog.

My card this week was made for a very special birthday boy!

It features MFT Die-namics ‘Smile’ die with some tartan ribbon behind.  The little scottie dogs are from an old stamp set from Aldi a few years ago.  They were stamped in black and then clear heat embossed.  One is cut so he looks as though he is peeping out from behind the letter.

It is a very simple card, but very well received.

This week, my card is a fun card I made as a thank you.

The cute little cats and dogs come from SSS  You Are Pawsome stamp set. They were copic coloured and fussy cut.

The background is  uses MFT Die-namics – Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX  to form  a top folding card.

Today I’m back with the first September Challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday  –Marsha’s Feminine “Anything Goes” Challenge. Please join us!

My card today uses copic coloured  and fussy cut flowers from Altnew’s – Beautiful Day set.

The background heart was die cut using Docrats Xcut Nesting Dies, which was then run through Spellbinders Celebrations  – Fabric Weave EF and swiped with Hero Arts Unicorn White Ink pad.

The sentiment is a die from Winnie & Walter – The Big, The Bold and Friends Cutaways.

I was happy with the way it turned out.
