WWC186 – Marsha’s Feminine “Anything Goes” Challenge

Today I’m back with the first September Challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday  –Marsha’s Feminine “Anything Goes” Challenge. Please join us!

Image may contain: one or more people and textMy card today uses copic coloured  and fussy cut flowers from Altnew’s – Beautiful Day set.

The background heart was die cut using Docrats Xcut Nesting Dies, which was then run through Spellbinders Celebrations  – Fabric Weave EF and swiped with Hero Arts Unicorn White Ink pad.

The sentiment is a die from Winnie & Walter – The Big, The Bold and Friends Cutaways.

I was happy with the way it turned out.

Thanks so much for stopping by and please head over to our blog to check out the inspiration offered by the rest of the Design Team.

Happy creating

I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and daughter. Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and have enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and painting. China painting helped develop my understanding of colour and design. Over the last few years card making has taken up a major part of my crafting time as I love to play with new techniques and mediums. Since beginning my blog, entering various challenges has encouraged me to grow my skills and creativity.

  1. WOW ! What a gorgeous card, Helen ! I’m totally in love with the textured black heart ! Your wonderful yellow flowers pop up so beautifully on top of it ! A fabulous take on our challenge. I just remind you that we have a maximum of 5 challenges, included ours. Anyway we thank you very much for sharing your card in our gallery and we hope you’ll back to play with Less is More again.

  2. Totally gorgeous colouring of those yellow blooms and your textured heart is a stunning backdrop. Such a shame you’ve linked up to too many challenges on this occasion. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x

  3. Such a lovely card! Your coloring is amazing! It looks like those roses are going to pop off the paper! Thank you SO much for joining us at Die Cut Divas ~ Christi, DT
