WWC188 – Helen’s Masculine “Anything Goes” Challenge

P1070526

Welcome back

This week I am thrilled to be hosting the new challenge – Masculine  – “Anything Goes”  Challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday Blog.

Image may contain: one or more people and textMy card this week was made for a very special birthday boy!

It features MFT Die-namics ‘Smile’ die with some tartan ribbon behind.  The little scottie dogs are from an old stamp set from Aldi a few years ago.  They were stamped in black and then clear heat embossed.  One is cut so he looks as though he is peeping out from behind the letter.

It is a very simple card, but very well received.

Thanks so much for visiting. Don’t forget to check out all Design Team projects over at our blog.

I look forward to seeing what you create this week.

Cheers

Helen

I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and daughter. Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and have enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and painting. China painting helped develop my understanding of colour and design. Over the last few years card making has taken up a major part of my crafting time as I love to play with new techniques and mediums. Since beginning my blog, entering various challenges has encouraged me to grow my skills and creativity.

  1. What a lovely card, Helen! The tartan ribbon letters are stunning and set the scene beautifully. How cute that you have one of the adorable Scotty dogs peeking out from behind the “E”. You’ve kept the card clean and simple and yet managed to fill it with style and elegance. Love it!
