WWC195 – Charlotte’s Feminine “Anything Goes” Challenge

Hello and welcome

It’s time for the next challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday!  This week it’s Charlotte’s Feminine “Anything Goes” Challenge!
Image may contain: one or more people and textThis week, I watercoloured  Altnew’s Springtime Azalea set.  After colouring, I added some of the details with the layered stamps and then fussy cut them. I did add some clear Wink of Stella for a bit of shine but it doesn’t show well in the photo.

The flowers were arranged around the circle die cut from a stitched die cut panel. Dark green cardstock was added to the back leaving a small border.

The sentiment from Honey Bee Love You stamp and Altnew  Adore You set were gold heat embossed in the circle.

This set is one of my favourites and so easy to work with.

I hope you will visit our blog to see the wonderful creations from our Design Team and to link up your creation.  Good luck!

Happy crafting

I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and daughter. Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and have enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and painting. China painting helped develop my understanding of colour and design. Over the last few years card making has taken up a major part of my crafting time as I love to play with new techniques and mediums. Since beginning my blog, entering various challenges has encouraged me to grow my skills and creativity.

  1. These are so beautiful Helen, they remind me of the Peruvian Lily set that I adore….. maybe I ‘need’ these too, because obviously I don’t have enough flowers in my stash lol. (love the colours you chose too!)

  2. A beautiful design and those flowers are gorgeous in that rich shade and adding interest with their dimension. I love the ‘pop’ of gold from the sentiment too. Thank you so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx

  3. what a pretty card…the reds/corals of your flower are so cheerful and warm.
Thanks so much for playing along with The Flower Challenge.
    🙂 Karen
