Hello and welcome
At last I’m back into things. It’s been a topsy turvy few weeks for us since Christmas Eve. Now, all will hopefully be plain sailing. It’s time for this week’s challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday! Donna is hosting our “All About Occasions” Challenge.
When my local Kaisercraft store had a sale last year, I decided it was time for me to add some Aussie flowers to my stash.
As the January 26th is Australia Day, I thought it would be the perfect time to try out this set – Kaisercraft – Open Road clear stamp set.
The focus of my CAS card is the Australian Waratah. It is a large shrub or small tree with this stunning stiff flower. Found in SE Australia, it is the floral emblem for New South Wales.
My waratah was coloured using Prismacolor pencils, after being stamped on a Spellbinders – Captivating Squares Nestabilities.
The sentiment is a favourite from a There She Goes set – Everyday Greetings.
Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you get the chance to join our challenge this week. Be sure to head to our blog for lots of great inspiration.
Cheers
Helen

OMGosh I have that stamp set but only used the gumnut stamp. Your inking of that beautiful waratah is breathtaking. Can’t imagine me doing anything as good as yours but ink mine up one day. Such stunning colours here Helen. Love the die frame you used also.
