WWC211 – Kath’s Feminine “Anything Goes” Challenge

 

Hello and welcome back

This week Kath is hosting the Feminine “Anything Goes” Challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday Challenge. I hope you can join in show us what you have created this week.

In the first 3 months of the year, I seem to have so many birthdays!  Does that happen to you too?

So my card tonight is one I made for a dear lady who is very special to me and to my family.  I hope she liked it.

I started by stamping Altnew’s Engagement Wishes stamp set in light Distress Ink for no line colouring and then watercoloured using Wilted Violet Distress Ink, before fussy cutting the flower.

This flower was so big, bold and pretty, I felt it needed take centre stage, and chose not to add any leaves.  I used gold glitter card stock, to cut my new Altnew’s Fine Frames Rectangle Die cut and ‘hugs’ from Winnie & Walter’s The Big, the Bold and Friends Cutaways, to finish this CAS card.

I liked the simplicity of this card and I hope you like it too.
