Hello and welcome
I’m back with a card for HLS Watercolour Challenge for May 2019 with an optional twist of HAPPY! However, anything watercolour is just fine.
It’s time for the new monthly challenge over at HLS Watercolour Challenge.
This month I have created a CAS card featuring a Kaisercraft stamp set – Always & Forever! When I found this set on sale in a local store , I just couldn’t resist the beautiful rose bud! So I finally pulled it out and was thrilled with how quickly and easily it came together.
After stamping in Antique Linen Distress Ink on a panel cut with CUTplorations Wonky Rectangle Dies, I watercoloured the rose using Distress Inks. (Candied Apple)
The sentiment is one of my old favourites again, There She Goes – Everyday Greetings! I wasn’t sure what to add, but finally decided on something small and sentimental.
For a finishing touch, I added 3 small dew drops to the rose and leaves with small Glossy Accents drops.
I think this one would make a wonderful Happy Mother’s Day card. I know my mum would have love it.
