Happy 2020 to you and your family! Welcome back to a new challenge over at Happy Little Stampers – Anything Goes with Dies – January. I hope you’ll find time in your busy life to join in the fun this month!
I had fun creating this card with no stamping!!!! Only some easy die cuts and a little colouring!! What a change!!
To start, I die cut a heart from some scrap packaging to use as a stencil. It was then overlayed by my new brick wall stencil by Clarity Stencils. It was then only a matter of layering some texture paste over the double stencil in the middle of a piece of card stock.
While it dried, I die cut the SSS Decorated Branch die colouring the branch black and the hearts red, followed by some clear Wink of Stella and then Glossy Accents.
After cutting the panel down and adding a fish tail to the bottom, it was time to layer the branch over the bricks and add the hearts.
Finally, a red check ribbon was added around the top with a small tag. I couldn’t decide on a sentiment, so simply added the word ‘love’ to the tag.
It was amazing how quickly it came together!
Time to head over to our blog to check out the great work by the rest of the Design Team! Good luck with your entries and have a wonderful Christmas and a very safe, happy and healthy 2020!
Cheers
Helen

Love the paste embossing brick wall on your heart. The red hearts and plaid ribbon, along with the black branch, just pop against the white background. Beautifully done. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble and Stinkin’ Inkers and hope you come back and join us again in this challenge and future challenges to see what shenanagins Thing 1, 2 and 3 are up to next challenge.

Thanks so much for your wonderfully kind comments, Melanie! I live in Queensland and so our fires ended before Christmas. We are all praying the rain we are now getting spreads to the fire ravaged areas of southern states and finally ends the fires. Amazing – crippling drought ( almost no rain since this time last year) , fires and now storms and rain causing some local flooding! But we’;; never say no the wonderful RAIN!!! Hoping it fills the dams and reaches the parched areas so desperate for water! We Aussies appreciate all the kindness we have received from all over the world! Amazing and so uplifting! Take care xx 🙂
