For a Special Couple (HLS – Dies)

Hello and welcome

Welcome back to a new challenge over at Happy Little Stampers –  Anything Goes with Dies – January.  I hope you’ll find time in  your busy life to join in the fun this month!

Today I’m sharing a card I made for friends of my daughter, who are celebrating their Engagement in a couple of weeks.  It is a very simple card, in line with the invitation they sent.

Starting with smooching Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Worn Lipstick and a touch of Dusty Concord) on the front panel, I sprayed with Glimmer Mist for some sparkle when dry. The panel was then attached to the card front. Very pretty IRL!

The Memory Box – Catalina Wreath was cut from kraft cardstock and the Memory Box – Heart Ribbon cut from white card and 2 layers of white Wink of Stella added.

The 2 die cuts were then interwoven and attached to the card front.

The sentiment is from an old JustRite – Wedding Nested Sentiment was stamped in Brilliance Starlite Black Ink.

It came together quite quickly.

Time to head over to our blog to check out the great work by the rest of the Design Team!  Good luck with your entries and have a wonderful Christmas and a very safe, happy and healthy 2020!

Cheers

Helen

I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and daughter. Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and have enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and painting. China painting helped develop my understanding of colour and design. Over the last few years card making has taken up a major part of my crafting time as I love to play with new techniques and mediums. Since beginning my blog, entering various challenges has encouraged me to grow my skills and creativity.

  1. Helen this is gorgeous. I love the soft background and then that you kept the heart die open means we can still see it-super card and so pleased to see it at CASology and Time Out
