It’s Your Birthday? (HLS Dies)

Hello and welcome

It’s time for a new challenge over at Happy Little Stampers –  Anything Goes with Dies – March.   As always, anything goes in this challenge. So, I hope you’ll find time in  your busy life to join in the fun this month!

I had fun playing with Hero Arts – Alpaca – stamp and die set.  This was the first time to use this fun set.

The images were stamped and copic coloured before being die cut.

Using MFT – Stitched Mod Square STAX a centre was cut in the front panel.  Another was cut in a piece of fun foam, which was added to the back after attaching a piece of acetate.

After adding some bright shaker elements, the front panel was added to card front.

The alpaca was added to the front of the shaker window with raised tape and the other elements arranged around it.

On a scrap piece of card, I randomly added copic colours before using MFT – Zig Zag dies. These strips were attached to the top and bottom of the card.

I love the bright, happy neon colours which bring these images to life.

Time to head over to our blog to check out the great work by the rest of the Design Team!

I look forward to seeing what you create this week!

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit.  I love to read your comments.

Have a great day

Cheers

Helen

I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and daughter. Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and have enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and painting. China painting helped develop my understanding of colour and design. Over the last few years card making has taken up a major part of my crafting time as I love to play with new techniques and mediums. Since beginning my blog, entering various challenges has encouraged me to grow my skills and creativity.
