Hello and welcome
I was fascinated when I read about the To Bee or Not To Bee Blog Hop
over at Crafty Milka’s Blog. Why don’t check it out.
Here is an extract from her blog.
Aim of the hop is to celebrate 3rd World Bee Day, to support bees and bees protection, to raise public awareness of the importance of bees and beekeeping and benefits of using apicultural products for our health.
So today’s card features a sweet little scene from an old wood block stamp I bought from a cheap shop years ago. I always thought is was super sweet.
It was stamped in brown ink on a piece of packaging from a coffee box. I use this a lot as I love the colour of this kraft card behind the printed box. Cheap creating and great recycling!!
The image was coloured using Prismacolor pencils. I did add a touch of Wink of Stella to the wings.
The sentiment was from Elizabeth Crafts – Bees Sentiments. heat embossed on a hexagonal cut out from the front. The bigger bee is from this set too.
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit. I love to read your comments.
I hope your enjoying some crafty time.
Stay safe and have a good day
Cheers
Helen

Helen what a super way to make kraft card-so creative and I think it looks better than kraft card-has a lovely grainy look to it. And I just adore this sweet image and love you stamped in brown as it makes it so soft-I must try this out. I do like you used the hexagonal cut out for the sentiment-just like honeycomb…very clever touch! And we all love a touch of sparkle! Thanks for joining us at Time Out x
