WWC286 – Marsha’s Challenge: All About Occasions

Hello and welcome

Today it’s time for the next challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday!  This week  it is Marsha’s Challenge: All About Occasions.

My card this week features Hero Arts – Kit-Tea Stamp & Die set.  This little kitten is so cute! After watercolouring, it was fussy cut.

Distress Ink was used to ink blend over a card panel and added to the card front.

Hero Arts – Papel Picado Confetti Die was cut in white card and added.

Ultimate Crafts – Careless and Free Diecut in silver (added to a white) was added around the kitten.  Then added with raised tape.

The sentiment and little heart bubble are from the same HA set.

WWC285 – Karen’s Challenge: Anything Goes with a Masculine Twist

Hello and welcome

Today it’s our new challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday! This week Karen is hosting the Challenge – Anything Goes with a Masculine Twist.

I decided to play with another image from SSS Chillin’ Frenchies stamp set as I had so much fun with the last one.

Just like this cool Frenchie, I love chilling out looking at the water, any chance I get!!

The image was stamped and copic coloured on the die cut front panel before being glued to the card front, as it is a one layer CAS card!

It’s a little difficult to see but I added some Wink of Stella to his drink and sunglasses. (They ended up dark as my copic pen leaked and I was determined not to start again!! Also no time as it’s been a very busy week!!)

The sentiment is from MFT – Penguins in Paradise stamp set.

Sweet Wishes (Penny Black Saturday Challenge)

I’m back to remind you about the  Penny Black Saturday August Challenge! This month the theme is  Anything Goes (Optional ‘Make the Sentiment the Focus’).  I hope you have a chance to join in the fun! It finishes soon.

My card features  PB Stamp image – Yearning ( a wood block stamp)     , watercoloured with Distress Inks. I just love the cute PB hedgies!

The sentiment is PB – Sweet Wishes die cut.

A simple CAS card, I hope it brings you a smile! 🙂

This is my card for MFT – Summer School 2020 Day 4.

I loved how this one turned out.

To begin, MFT – Wavy Coloring Book Background Stamp was white heat embossed before blending 4 different colours of Distress Ink to achieve an ombre look.

The panel was then cut in strips of varying widths. The die cut ‘Good Times’ was MFT – Die-namics LLD Accent It – Celebrate.

After arranging the strips, some small shell die cuts (Memory Box) were added for interest.

Here is another card for the MFT – Summer School 2020 – Day 2 and 3.

To begin, MFT – Four Way Chevron Cover Die – one white and one black.

The black die cut was added to a piece of card and then each piece was added once copic coloured in rainbow colours.

After adding to the card front, a fancy circle (Mama Elephant – Pizazz Pieces – Creative Cuts) was added with raised tape.

The sentiment is from MFT – Make A Wish stamp set.

This card is for the MFT Summer School – Visual Triangle Challenge.

To begin, I stamped the 3 dogs on the card front using MFT – Super Dog stamp set.

The background was inked with MFT – Cloud stencil.

The images were then copic coloured.

Speech bubble and sentiments were then stamped on the cared front.

Mama Elephant skyline die was cut from black card and added along the bottom of the card to finish the scene.

These images are so much fun.

Hello and welcome

My card uses Hero Arts – Poppies, white heat embossed and the flowers watercoloured using Distress Inks. This is an old stamp I bought about6 or 7 years ago, but still a favourite.

The panel was then added behind a square panel that had a large circle cut in the middle and then run through Craft Concepts Woodgrain Embossing Folder.

It was then added to green card before being added to the card front.

The white heat embossed sentiment was added using raised tape.

Hello and welcome

My card is a special friendship card featuring Hero Arts – Beautiful Day Agapanthus. I love them.

To begin, I stamped the larger ball flower 3 times using a mask and heat embossing it in a glitter EP.  It’s the remains of an old bottle so sadly, I’m not sure what brand it is.

I used a navy paper with a glittery sheen to it, so lots of shine all over.

The water colouring used Delicata White Shimmer ink pad.  This made for super quick colouring with great results! It’s just a shame it is so difficult to photograph the shine and glitter! 😦

The panel was then fussy cut along the bottom edge and added to a pale blue card front.

The ‘friends’ sentiment is from Winnie & Walter die cut from the same blue card and added to the front over the flowers.

Today it’s time for the next challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday!  This week  it is Tristan’s Challenge: Anything Goes with a Feminine Twist.

My card features MFT – Sweet BD Wishes stamp set.

The birthday girl was stamped, copic coloured and fussy cut. OF course, I added some Wink of Stella to give it some shine!

The card front was cut with MFT Die-namics Stitched Basic Edges.

I thought this cute DP was a perfect background for the cupcake. A little Wink of Stella was added to the cupcakes, cut using MFT  Blueprints 26 set. I trimmed the white card front to match.

The sentiment rectangle was recurring stamping of sentiments from the same stamp set.

I added a panel inside the card for a gift card, money or some other little gift.
