Hello, my friend (HLS Dies)

Hello and welcome

We’re back after a break with the first challenge over at Happy Little Stampers –  Anything Goes with Dies – January.   As always, anything goes in this challenge. So, I hope you’ll find time in  your busy life to join in the fun this month!

My card uses a new to me die – Altnew – Leaf Canopy.

Using Altnew inks I blended colour on a panel of card, then added a little Cosmic Shimmer – Pixie Powder – Plum Twist before spraying with water.

Once dry, the leaves were die cut along with the Altnew ‘Hello” die (another new one for me!) There is a lovely shimmer, but it just doesn’t photograph well and looks more like dark spots!

The background was created with grey card die cut with Altnew Layered Medallions Cover Die B.

These were layered over a light grey speckled card and then onto the card front.

The leaves and hello were then layered on top, along with the ‘my friend’ (a favourite from Everyday Greeting from There She Goes Stamps), sentiment stamped on a scrap of pink card using grey ink.
