Hello and welcome

Today it’s time for our new challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday! This week Tristan is hosting the Challenge –Anything with a Masculine Twist.

This week, I brought out one of my favourite stamp set, which I’ve used many times – Lighthouse Circlet Mini Tryfolds stamp set from Art Impressions

I was thinking of the way the view would look as you climbed a set of stairs with windows along the way.

I started my cutting the 3 small square panels out of a square card front using Papertrey Ink Take 3 dies.

On a scrap of card, I drew around the squares lightly, so I could plan where to stamp the images. It was then just a matter of working our the positioning the stamps with lots of masking and remembering to keep them straight when the panel is on the angle! LO!!

It was then only a matter of watercolouring the scenes with Distress inks, adding some white acrylic paint to give a little more impact to the ocean waves.

Clarity Stencils – Brick Wall was added to the card front panel using white Texture paste.

Once everything was dry, it as put together using some fun foam under the front panel to more of an impression of distance looking out the windows.

The sentiment is from Altnew – Label Love.

It was a fun challenge to make this one. I hope you like it!
