The Secret Ingredient is Always … LOVE (PB Saturday Challenge)

Hello and welcome

It’s time for the current challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge!  Mays theme  is Anything Goes (Optional – ‘CAS’).  I hope you have a chance to join in the fun!

As usual, we are sponsored by the awesome

Prize – a $20 voucher!

I decided to make a slimline card this time along with PB – Always Love! Stamp set stamped between the letters from Technique Tuesday Alphabet stamp set.

Everything was then Distress watercoloured and the letters and rim of the bowl had a good covering of Wink of Stella to add a little shine to this one layer card!

This is such a super cute image. The sentiment was from the set and stamped across the top of the image minus the last word ‘love’.

Please head over to our blog to  check out the wonderfully inspirational work by the rest of the Design Team!  I hope you will find the time to join our challenge this month.

I look forward to seeing what you create!  Good luck!

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit.  I love to read your comments and will be sure to check out your blog.

I hope all is going well for you all! Stay safe!

I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and daughter. Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and have enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and painting. China painting helped develop my understanding of colour and design. Over the last few years card making has taken up a major part of my crafting time as I love to play with new techniques and mediums. Since beginning my blog, entering various challenges has encouraged me to grow my skills and creativity.

  2. So sweet Helen! Who doesn’t love Penny Black. I can’t see that you used any snippets but it could be that I don’t have my thinking head on today. I’ll let it go anyhow – life is too short. I spotted that you seem to have concerns about linking into the Playground. It should be easy, always tick that stupid box saying you’re not a robot when you add your name and link though – I can’t get rid of it. And if EVER you want to reach out for help, I’m only at the other end of a keyboard! How fun if we could have a meet-up for the USA/UK- I did it with Darnell, as well as Maureen from Rudolph Days Challenge and my, oh my – what a great time we had. And of course have been lucky enough to spend real play times time with a good few of our Playmates – they are all every bit as much fun as one could ever hope for. We usually laugh the whole time!

  3. AND, how could I possibly forget – a few years back we had a holiday in New Mexico and I met dear sweet Kay Hammond. several times. We raided every craft store she could think of – good job I took one big suitcase very lightly packed in readiness!
