WWC319 – Helen’s Challenge: All Things Feminine

Hello and welcome

Today I’m back with a new challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday. I’m thrilled to be the hostess for today’s Watercooler Wednesday Challenge: All Things Feminine.

I decided to make a fun shaker tag today.

I started by stamping, Distress watercolouring and fussy cutting the small image from Stampendous House-Mouse – Celebrate Friends stamp set. Of course, Wink of Stella added some shimmer to the ribbons on the image.

I then cut the tag using the Sizzix Rounded Tag twice in white card stock and once in DP.

The DP tag was added to a card tag and then had a window cut.

A piece of acetate was cut to cover the window. The fussy cut image was added to the top of the window before the acetate was added to the window. A little glue was then added to be sure the image was adhered to the acetate.

Raised tape was added around the back of the window to form a well to hold the sequins and sparkles.

The white card panel was added to the back to seal the shaker window.

The sentiment from the same stamp set was white heat embossed and added to the front with raised tape. Two pieces of ribbon were threaded through to top of the tag to finish.

I love a fun of a shaker, even a smaller version!
