Enjoy Your Special Day

I would like to thank everyone over at Sisterhood of Crafters – LEAF it to Chance Challenge for selecting my card in the Top3. I really appreciate thier support.

SISTERHOOD TOP THREE AWARD

Hello again

This is my last card for the MFT Camp Create.

This time I used MFT – Leafy Greenery dies to cut leaf shapes from vellum and various pieces of cardstock I had smooched with inks and gold paint.

The circle was cut from glitter cardstock using 2 MFT Circle dies.

The sentiment strip was cut using MFT – Blueprint Sketch 25 and the sentiement from MFT – Birthday Greetings.

After covering my card front with vellum, I attached the circle. It was then just a matter of attaching the arranged leaves. I covered the join of the 2 bunches with a heart cut with a punch.

I loved the way this one turned out with a soft delicate look. A great way to finish my entries into the MFT Camp Create.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit.  I love to read your comments and will be sure to check out your blog.

I hope all is going well for you all! Stay safe!

Cheers

Helen

I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and daughter. Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and have enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and painting. China painting helped develop my understanding of colour and design. Over the last few years card making has taken up a major part of my crafting time as I love to play with new techniques and mediums. Since beginning my blog, entering various challenges has encouraged me to grow my skills and creativity.

  1. Beautiful design!! The watercolor and vellum die cuts go so well together. Thanks for watercoloring with us this month at Die Cut Divas.
