Less is More #461 – Colours (Pink & Gold)

Hello and welcome

I am thrilled to be joining the wonderful Design Team over at Less is More Challenge.

As it’s Saturday, it’s time for a new challenge over at LIM. The challenge is to create using the theme: Occupations.

My card features gold embossed HA – Leafy Vines stamp.

The panel was then smooched with pink Distress inks before being add to a square card front.

The sentiment is from HA – Flower Girls bundle.

Altnew – You’re So Special

Thank you so much to Stamping Sensations for voting my card second in their Spring Challenge. Also Allsorts Challenge for selecting my card in Top 5 for their Feminine Challenge. I really appreciate the wonderful support and encouragement from everyone.

Hello and welcome

I decided to create a card for the Altnew Inspiration Challenge for March.

To begin I added some light Speckled Egg Distress Ink sprayed with a little water on Altnew – Enchanting Vines EF. It gave a lovely soft look to the background, before being layered on the card front.

Altnew – Inked Lotus was white heat embossed and watercoloured with soft Tombow ink.

The sentiment is from the Lotus stamp set too.

I was happy with the way it turned out.

Hello and welcome

Just a reminder of the March Challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge!  The theme  is  Anything Goes (Optional ‘Bright Colours’) 

As usual, we are sponsored by the awesome 

Today’s card uses on of my very old wood block stamps from when I first started stamping, Garden Friends.

After stamping, the image was copic coloured and fussy cut.

The card front was covered with some pretty floral DP.

A panel of card was then embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and layered onto the card front.

As I love the message on the stamp I decided not to add another sentiment.

Hello … Always Thinking of You (HLS – Dies)

Hello and welcome

We’re back with a new challenge over at Happy Little Stampers –  Anything Goes with Dies – March .   As always, anything goes in this challenge. So, I hope you’ll find time in  your busy life to join in the fun this month!

Over the holidays I had fun playing with some alcohol inks.

This panel uses alcohol inks on clear yupo paper . The panel is then flipped to give a softer look before adding to the card front.

I die cut Memory Box Shewsbury Stem twice, once from white and once from black card and layered on the front.

The Hello die from Memory Box was die cut twice, stacked and added along with the white heat embossed sentiment from Altnew – PenSketch Flowers stamp set.

A few Studio Katia sequins finished the card.

It’s Your Special Day (PB Saturday Challenge)

I’m back for the March Challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge!  The theme  is  Anything Goes (Optional ‘Bright Colours’) 

As usual, we are sponsored by the awesome 

For my card I chose to make a birthday card which usually sends lots of love.

After stamping PB – Blooming Boots stamp, I stamped the tuplips again so I could add some dimension. They images were then Distress ink watercoloured and fussy cut.

Glossy Accents was added to the boots to give them the shine I thought they should have.

The tulips were then added on top the of the original stamping using raised tape and some Wink of Stella added.

PB – Simple Stackers die set was layered up and added to the black card front.

The sentiment is from PB – Sprinkles & Smiles stamp set.

Happy Birthday (HLS – Watercolour)

Hello and welcome

It’s the first of March, so it’s time for HLS Watercolour Challenge for March, 2022. As always it’s Anything Goes so long as it features watercolour. So easy to join in!

My card features Concord and 9th “You are Here” stamp set.

After stamping on a watercolour panel cut using MFT – Blueprint 26 die.

Once the flowers had been watercoloured with Distress ink, the large sentiment from Mama Elephant – Birthday Wishes stamp set.

The panel was finished with some gold splatters.
