Hello … Always Thinking of You (HLS – Dies)

I would like to thank the team over at Bizzy Bec’s Blog Challenge – Anything Goes for selecting my card as the winner!

Hello and welcome

We’re back with a new challenge over at Happy Little Stampers –  Anything Goes with Dies – March .   As always, anything goes in this challenge. So, I hope you’ll find time in  your busy life to join in the fun this month!

Over the holidays I had fun playing with some alcohol inks.

This panel uses alcohol inks on clear yupo paper . The panel is then flipped to give a softer look before adding to the card front.

I die cut Memory Box Shewsbury Stem twice, once from white and once from black card and layered on the front.

The Hello die from Memory Box was die cut twice, stacked and added along with the white heat embossed sentiment from Altnew – PenSketch Flowers stamp set.

A few Studio Katia sequins finished the card.

Time to head over to our blog to check out the great work by the rest of the Design Team!

I look forward to seeing what you create this month!

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit.  I love to read your comments.

Have a good day and stay safe!

Cheers

Helen

I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and daughter. Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and have enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and painting. China painting helped develop my understanding of colour and design. Over the last few years card making has taken up a major part of my crafting time as I love to play with new techniques and mediums. Since beginning my blog, entering various challenges has encouraged me to grow my skills and creativity.

  1. This has a background that has a lovely flow to it and in such a vibrant colour and I love the way you have placed the dies. One stunning card.

    1. I loved the way it turned out Ina! I must play more, ut you never know how they’ll turn out. I liked that this was the back of teh vellum as it seemed to soften it more. Thanks so much for your kind comments. Take care! 🙂
