Less is More #463 – Have a Totally Purrfect Day

I would like to give a huge thank you to the team over at Sisterhood of Crafters for selecting my card in the Top 3 in their Slimline Challenge.

Happy Saturday everyone. It’s time for a new challenge over at LIM. The challenge is to create using the theme: One Layer – Off Centre.

My card features Colorado Craft – Keep Growing stamp set. I love these fun images. I can see my daughter’s cat doing just this!

After stamping it was watercoloured using Zig Colour Markers.

The sentiment is one of the great sentiments in the stamp set.

You’re so Sweet (PB Saturday Challenge)

Hello and welcome

I’m back with a reminder for the April Challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge!  The theme  is  Anything Goes (Optional ‘Easter’) 

As usual, we are sponsored by the awesome 

My card features another of my favourite PB images – For Goodness Sake stamp . Looking at this little scene it could be used for many occasions including Easter. I just love Penny Black’s sweet images as well as watercolouring, so this card is perfect. Even though I love floral and cute, I like to change it up. This time I decided to go with Cute!

Hello and welcome

We’re back with a new challenge over at Happy Little Stampers –  Anything Goes with Dies – April .   As always, anything goes in this challenge. So, I hope you’ll find time in  your busy life to join in the fun this month!

I had a scrap of card where I had played with some Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powders. I love the way playing with these powders turn out. You can never truly predict how it will look when its dry. A favourite thing to use!

I always loved the way the colours went on this piece, so decided it was time to use it. I chose Kaisercraft – Fancy Bottles dies. I thought the colours suited the beautiful glass decantors you can get. A little gold card finished the stoppers.

This card used up so many of my scraps. I used small strips of gold to go behind the die cut border as well as for the stoppers. Great to use them up.

The sentiment is from a little local company, cut from another scrap of gold card. I layered it up twice.

Love & Hugs (HLS – Watercolour)

Hello and welcome

It’s the first of April, so it’s time for HLS Watercolour Challenge for April 2022. As always it’s Anything Goes so long as it features watercolour. So easy to join in!

I started by stamping the daisy from HA – Daisy and Bugs stamp set 3 times and no-line watercoloured them with Distress Ink – Picked Raspberry, before fussy cutting them.

I added some ink smooching along the side of the card front panel.

Once dry I added 2 strips of black card down the side before adhering the daisies.

The sentiment is from HA – Florals Rose Stem stamp set.

I love daisies and they look so bright fresh on this card.
