I’m back with a reminder for the May Challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge!  The theme  is  Anything Goes (Optional ‘Nature’) 

As usual, we are sponsored by the awesome 

After Distress watercolouring the PB – Radiant stamp it was added behind the larget layer from the PB – Simple Stackers die set.

It was layered up and added to blue card before being added to the white card front.

The sentiment is from PB – Special Toughts stamp set.

Less is More – Just for You

I would like to thank the team over at CAS on Sunday for selecting my card as a Favourite!

Happy Saturday everyone. It’s time for a new challenge over at LIM. The challenge is to create using the theme: Rainbow.

My card features The Ton – Butterfly Swirl die cut into the card front.

I then used a scrap of watercoloured rainbow panel to sit behind the die cut butterflies.

Once happy with the position, it was glued into position.

The sentiment is from – Altnew – Label Love stamp set.

Hello and welcome

I had lots of fun creating this fun celebration card featuring Newton’s Nook – Cocktail Mixer stamp set. I am playing along with Newton’s Nook Inky Paws colour challenge using pink, orange, green and yellow!

After stamping the drinks and Distress watercolouring them, they were masked ready for ink blending the circles.

Next was stamping the sentiments using Brilliance – Lightning Black ink for some added shine.

More shine came from Wink of Stella, Gelly Roll pen and some coloured gems.

Such a bright happy card for lots of occasions!

Today’s card features PB – Winsome Wreath, a new to me stamp. So I loved colouring it.

After gold heat embossing, I watercoloured using a mix of Distress Inks and Tombow pens.

The sentiment is from PB – Special Thoughts stamp set.

I loved the way it looked. It was so soft and feminine, perfect for Mum or any special lady.

Lace Cover Die (HLS – Dies)

Hello and welcome

We’re back with a new challenge over at Happy Little Stampers –  Anything Goes with Dies – May .   As always, anything goes in this challenge. So, I hope you’ll find time in  your busy life to join in the fun this month!

My card features Altnew – Doodled Lace Die cut from kraft cardstock. This was one of my first Cover Dies I ever bought as I just loved as it’s so different with it’s obvious floral lacy design.

The panel was coloured using Prismacolor pencils before being added to black card front.

I have always loved this pretty die and at the end I had a time deciding whether to use back or white for the background.

I decided not to add a sentiment but wait to see how I wanted to use it.

Less is More – Happy Birthday – You make life sweet!

Happy Saturday everyone. It’s time for a new challenge over at LIM. The challenge is to create using the theme: Use a Tag.

My card uses some fun sets from Newton’s Nook – ‘Newton’s Donut’ and ‘Cat Treats’.

The sentiments and small images were stamped on a strip of white card and watercoloured before being added to the side of the card front.

The large donut image was stamped on the tag, watercoloured and the icing covered with Glossy Accents to add some fun!! The birthday sentiment is from the ‘Cocktail Mixer’ set. The edges had distress ink added as well as a scrap of hot pink ribbon for the bow. It was added to the front with raised tape.

Hello and welcome

It’s the first of the month, so it’s time for HLS Watercolour Challenge for May 2022. As always it’s Anything Goes so long as it features watercolour. So easy to join in!

My card features the Altnew – Clematis stamp.

Once stamped, I watercoloured it using a mix of Distress inks and Tombow pens.

I framed the panel using Altnew – Fine Frames Cover Die.

The sentiment is from Altnew – Breezy bouquet stamp set.

I love the way these frames allow the blue flowers to pop!
