Thanks (HLS- Watercolour)

Hello and welcome

It’s the first of June, so it’s time for HLS Watercolour Challenge for June 2022. As always it’s Anything Goes so long as it features watercolour. So easy to join in!

I had fun creating the background for this card.

To begin a panel was ink blended using Distress inks.

The MFT – Funky Florals stencil was sprayed lightly with water and placed waterside down onto the panel. Allow it to sit so the water can transfer onto the panel removing some of the colour.

Such a pretty look and so easy! I lightly sprayed with Glimmer Mist to give a little shine.

After trimming, the panel had silver ink edged before adding to a blue card and then the white card front.

The MFT – die cut Thanks was cut fom glitter cardstock and added to the front.

Please head over to our blog and check out the wonderfully inspirational work by the rest of the Design Team!  I hope you will find the time to join our challenge this month.

I look forward to seeing what you create!  Good luck!

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit.  I love to read your comments.

Stay safe

Cheers

Helen

I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and daughter. Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and have enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and painting. China painting helped develop my understanding of colour and design. Over the last few years card making has taken up a major part of my crafting time as I love to play with new techniques and mediums. Since beginning my blog, entering various challenges has encouraged me to grow my skills and creativity.

  1. So pretty! Definitely looks like a fun technique that I must try again! I’ve tried it once before and it looked like a big blob on the paper, lol! Some people have all the luck, lol! 😀
