Happy Saturday everyone. It’s time for a new challenge over at LIM. The challenge is to create using the theme: Recipe – Friendship Challenge.

For my I chose this fun Stampingbella – Uptown girl Pippa loves to Plant stamp set.

After stamping, it was wateroloured with Distress Inks.

The sentiment in from the same set.

Hello – (Altnew – Pair-A-Flower Watercolor Challenge 2022)

Hello and welcome

I’m here with an entry into Altnew’s Pair-a-Flower watercolor challenge for 2022.

I had lots of fun playing with Altnew’s Build-A-Poppy stamp set.

I was inspired by some beautiful poppies I fell in love with.

After stamping the flowers were watercoloured using Altnew Brush Markers and then fussy cut.

The background it Altnew- Enchanting Vines 3D Embossing Folder. After the blackcardstock was embossed I rubbed Brilliance – Lightning Black ink pad across to give a subtle hint of gold with a little sparkle.

A strip of vellum was added along the side before the flowers were arranged across the front and added with raised tape.

The sentitment is a gold Altnew’s ‘Hello’ die raised up with 3 layers of die cuts.

Die Cut Divas Challenge

Just For You – (Altnew – Pair-A-Flower Watercolor Challenge 2022)

Hello and welcome

This is my second entry in Altnew’s Pair-A-Flower Watercolor Challenge.

This card was inspired by a photo I took on holiday of some lotus flowers – another one of my favourites.

The flowers and leaves were watercoloured using my Altnew Watercolor pan and then fussy cut.

The background features Altnew’s Ribbon Waves 3D Embossing Folder using green card. It was then sprayed with pearl water and then splattered with white and gold. (To give the look of the light hitting the water.)

I then cut the Altnew – Fine Frames Cover Die and split it into 2 rectangle frames.

The larger was add to the embossed card. The second had the flowers and leaves attached and then added at an angle using raised tape.

The sentiment tag is from Altnew – Breezy Bouquet stamp set.

I’m back with a reminder for the September Challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge!  The theme  is  Anything Goes (Optional ‘Food’)

My fun features the fun PB – Fun Time Girls Stamp set.

Just to add to the fun, I decided to keep it to black and white, although I added just a little pink to the girls skin and a couple of pops of red!

It makes for such striking images so I added it to a black and white stripe DP card front.

SSS Wednesday Challenge – Stamp It

Happy Birthday (HLS – Dies)

Hello and welcome

We’re back with a new challenge over at Happy Little Stampers –  Anything Goes with Dies – September.   As always, anything goes in this challenge. So, I hope you’ll find time in  your busy life to join in the fun this month!

My card I used a panel cut with MFT – Blueprint Sketch 26 frame from purple card, fun foam and white card. The purple frame had MFT – stars stencilled using Wink of Stella.

I then cut MFT – Happy Birthday Centerpiece die from white and a piece I had smooched with Distress inks.

After attaching the die cut letters (with Wink of Stella added) to the white panel, it was added to the card front along with some sprinkles and stars behind the shaker front.

The little cat from MFT – Pawty Time was Distress watercoloured, fussy cut and added to the card front.

A fun card for a special girl.

My card features PB – Tea Party stamp set stamped on a tag, using masks and watercoloured with Distress inks.

This is the first time I’ve used this sweet little set. I bought it about 2 years ago.

The card front was covered in DP and then a paper doiley before adding the tag with a scrap of sheer ribbon.

The die cut sentiment – PB – Sweet Wishes was coloured and clear heat embossed .

The stamped sentiment is from PB – Birthday Humor stamp set.

I am thrilled to be back with another project over at  Love to Craft! Challenge. They have another  LTCCB challenge this month where Anything Goes. The challenge goes for 6 weeks. So for this challenge is for September /October 2022.

My project involves some small spiral notebooks that I covered with DP and decorated with scraps of paper, twine and stamping.

Again they make great gifts.

Big smiles (HLS – Watercolour)

Hello again

It’s the first of the month, so time for HLS Watercolour Challenge for September 2022. As always it’s Anything Goes so long as it features watercolour. So easy to join in!

A fun simple card this time featuring this cute image from Create a Smile stamps – Ahoy set.

I decided on a rectanguar card base as it allows so much versatility such as using the fun frame die I used on this card. Using the look of a frame really helps to highlight the main image/s, panel.

I started by watercolouring the background and cutting it with Altnew – Mix and Match Frames Die. Then lots of splatters of water and colour.

The sentiment is from Create a Smile – Big Surprise stamp set.
