Birdhouse banner

This card is from a Papermania stamp set coloured using copic markers. It is difficult to see but I used Wink of Stella Clear pen over the banners to add an extra a little bit of interest. The colour combination is for the colour challenge over at  Colour Throwdown #436.  I hope you like it.  P1060228

Happy birthday die cut

This bright card uses the Simon Says Stamp ‘Happy Birthday Circle’ die as the main focus.P1060216 (2)     The die background pieces are shaded with Distress Inks and placed back into black die cut.  I used a piece of plasterers tape down the middle for a bit of interest and finished off with a few die cut stars.

I want to link it to the AAA Cards Game #86 Die cuts.

A little change on Julie Nutting doll card

Here I am again… at last!

A friend asked me to design a card she could make for her daughter.  She really liked my earlier card.  I made a couple of versions so she could choose.  They look much the same in the photos, but the colours are very different in real life.

My ladies really enjoyed the challenge and loved the results.

The dress on the first card was water coloured using a Tombow pen.

The next used Distress Inks for some watercolour smooching. There is just a hint of pink and blue along with the purple.

The main dress was masked and then stamped with a Penny Black stamp using Brilliance Starlight Black Ink.

I hope your managing to keep dry if your in Queensland.
