Hello there
I recently purchased Concord & 9th Detailed Blooms Die, which I just loved. So I decided to create a shaped card that used the die as the feature.
After cutting the die from some white card stock, I used it to draw around the front panel allowing a small border and fussy cut it.
I then started to build up the colour on the front panel using SAI Japanese Water colour pens (similar to Zig pens) in 2 shades of pink and some Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Dust – Rich Gold. Once I was happy with the intensity of colour, it was left to dry.
The die cut was also washed using the same colours.
The sentiment was gold heat embossed using Concord & 9th – Hello Lovely and Happy Day stamp sets.
The front panel was then adhered to the card front and the top was again fussy cut.
Finally the die cut was added to the front and some small gems finished the card.
I was really happy with the results. I hope you like it too.
Thanks so much for stopping by
Helen

This is so neat! And I admire your fussy cutting skills. As a matter of fact I just had to get a new eyeglass prescription because while I can still read fine, my fussy cutting skills were declining. Ha! Thank you so much for joining us at Where Creativity Meets C9!
