Happy Saturday everyone. It’s time for a new challenge over at LIM. This time it is to create using the: Colour Challenge – Orange.

Today’s card features the beautiful HA Nasturtums watercoloured with Distress inks.

The bakcground was ink blended with Distsres ink, splattered with water and gold.

The front panels use Tim Holtz Sizzix thinlits die offset to allow the flowers to climb.

The sentiment is from HA – Decorate a Cake stamp set.

My card features Altnew – Pen Sketched Flowers stamp set.

After heat embossing in Rose Gold embossing powder the images were watercoloured using Altnew inks and fussy cut.

The background was created with Altnew watercolor brush markers.

The rectangles are Altnew – Fine Frames.

My one layer card features the fun image from PB – Sweet You stamp set!

I love this fun cat image as I love cats. At the moment I’m busy babysitting my daughter’s 2 fur babies. They can be so independent or keen for a cuddle. They certainly keep you on your toes!! 🙂 Just like the one in the image!! 🙂 🙂 : )

Happy Saturday everyone. It’s time for a new challenge over at LIM. The challenge is to create using the theme: Photo Inspiration Challenge – One Layer Card.

I was very happy with the way this one turned out. It’s so bright, happy and full of sunny smiles!!!

After stamping the beautiful HA – Daisy (from Daisy and Bugs stamp set), and masking, I added colour. This is one of my favourite HA stamps and I have used it many times over the last couple of years.

The flower was watercoloured using Distress inks.

The sentiment is from the Flower Bouquet stamp set.

Wishing YOU Oceans of HAPPINESS (HLS – Watercolour Challenge)

Hello again

Welcome to a new challenge at HLS Watercolour Challenge for August 2023. As always it’s Anything Goes with the option this month of HAPPY. Just be sure it features watercolour. So easy to join in!

Today I had fun creating a beach scene featuring Newton’s Nook stamp sets – Summer Moments and Newton’s Seashell. (I can’t wait for Summer to come!) I’ve had these cuties in my stash for over a year and this is it’s first outing for the Seashell stamp!!!

After stamping all the images were Distress watercoloured and fussy cut.

The background ocean was Distress ink smooching.

I added sand, some fibres and stamped shells from the set as well as some from Memory Box – Seaside Treasures die cuts. Shaker cards are one of my favourites!
