I would like to thank Elle over at Ellibelle’s Corner Wednesday Challenge for selecting my card as Top Pick Twist (Seasonal Simplicity) for her November Challenge. I am honoured to be chosen from such a wonderful range of cards.
I had fun playing with this beautiful PB – Tweet Wreath stamp.
After stamping, it was watercoloured using Distress inks.
Once it was dry I outlined the leaves in gold using Gansai Tambi set. (So pretty but a little difficult to see in the photo )
The sentiment is from PB – Sweet Sledder stamp set.

Hello and welcome
Happy Saturday everyone. It’s time for a new challenge over at LIM. The challenge is to create using the theme: Outdoor Challenge.
This will be the last challenge of the year. It will also include a DT Call for 2023.
My card features this sweet image from MFT – Always Bring A Smile stamp set.
It was watercoloured using Distress ink.
I added some light ink blending around the image.

Their exciting new challenge is “Ombre”! Such fun!!
I had lots of thoughts about how to work with ombre as there are so many choices available.
Finally, I decided on
On a sheet of card I made an ombre wash using Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powder in Lava red as it gives such a wonderful shimmer and shine to the card.
I then cut a MFT – Rectangle Peek-a-Boo window.
On a scrap of card I stamped the images from MFT – Beary Special Birthday set, and watercoloured using the Pixie powder and some Tombows, before fussy cutting them out. This is a very old set from MFT but one of my favourites. (Who doesn’t see a cute teddy in a box as the perfect gift under the tree!!)
A piece of vellum was placed behind the window before adding the cute little bear.
The sentiment is gold heat embossed SSS – Merry Christmas die.
Happy Saturday everyone. It’s time for a new challenge over at LIM. The challenge is to create using the theme: Colour Challenge.
I had fun playing with Pixie Powders in purple, blue and a touch of red to create this lovely watrcolour panel. It was then splattered with gold. I love all the wonderful sparkle and shine you get.
The panel was cut using Sizzix – Big Moorish Label die.
The gold heat embossed sentiment is from a very old block stamp from Print Blocks Australia.

I would love to thank Bizzy Bec’s for selecting my card as winner of their November Anything Goes Challenge. A huge honour.
(Such a beautiful card, we just loved your choice of colours for your girl and your background stamping and embossing is lovely. This card would sure brighten someones day)
I started playing with PB – Trailing slapstick stamp. After stamping with various shades of orange, I heat embossed the image in clear and then watercoloured using the same colours in an ombre effect for the background. I was just playing so wasn’t sure it would look any good. In the end, I was happy with the look and decided to use in for today’s card!
I used Distress inks to watercolour PB Christmas Wishes girl, before fussy cutting. I thought she was perfect to be looking up at the Autumn leaves. Always good to find another use for a Christmas stamp!
Both were then added to a kraft card front.
The sentiment is from PB – Special Thoughts stamp set.

My card features a very old set I picked up on a throw out table years ago. IT is from Papermania – Just to say – Thanks stamps. I just love this beautiful image.
After water colouring with Distress inks, it was added behind a frame usiiing MFT – Pierced Circle Frames.
The background is Altnew Scallop Cover die in white over a pale blue card front.
The simple little Thank you sentiment is from the same set.
