WWC331 – Marsha’s Special 3 – Week Challenge

Hello and welcome

Today I’m back with a new challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday. Marsha is host for this special 3 week challenge Watercooler Wednesday Challenge: All About Occasions.

May be an image of text that says ""Anything Goes" WWC331 Marsha's Special 3- Week Challenge"

I had lots of fun making this Christmas card. I love interactive cards and living here is Australia where it’s hot and sunny for Christmas, I couldn’t resist a summery Christmas theme.

I started by cutting SSS – Perforated Flaps middle die twice on the ccard front.

Then AI – Tropical Christmas images were stamped on the front and watercolured with Distress inks.

2 more dies were cut and stamped with more images from the set for the back of the flaps. The presents were from AI – Meerkat Stamp Set.

The card front then had more images added in the frame spaces . All Distress ink watercoloured.

The panels were added to the flaps and then added to the card front.

I’m sure it will bring a smile.

Don’t forget to head over to our blog to check out the wonderful inspiration from the rest of our Design Team.

I look forward to seeing what you create this week!

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit.  I love to read your comments.

Stay safe in these difficult times and have a good day

Wow! With Christmas rapidly approaching, I thought it was a good idea to make another Christmas card!

I started by colouring a panel of white card with Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Dust in Lava Red!

Once dry it was die cut using SSS Clustered Leaves die and again from vellum. Then the matching SSS – Outline Clustered Leaves die was cut from white card.

A panel was embossed using Altnew – 3D EF – Geo Steps in white and attached to the card front.

The leaves were then attached by the stems while the leaves were pinched for dimension. The white outlines were added on top and then the vellum.

As all the leaves look to be floating it gives the panel more the look of real leaves.

The Merry Christmas die cut from was cut from the coloured panel and layered on white before being added.

Time to head over to our blog to check out the great work by the rest of the Design Team!

I look forward to seeing what you create this month!

Prize – a $20 voucher!

Where has the year gone? Here we are at Christmas!

So this month my Christmas card features this super sweet little PB image – Sweet Sledder.

After stamping, Distress Ink watercolouring, I fussy cut the top section of the image.

I then cut PB – Simple Stackers layered twice.

After cutting some SSS Stitched slopers and Hills die, I added glue along the top and then someDiamond Glitter.

The image was added to the snowy slopes and then to some kraft card (my favourite coffee box! 🙂 ) that has the matching sentiment white heat embossed as well as SSS Falling Snow stencil with some texture paste and more glitter.

Such a fun little Christmas card using non- tradional colours for a change.

Please head over to our blog to  check out the wonderfully inspirational work by the rest of the Design Team!  I hope you will find the time to join our challenge this month.

I look forward to seeing what you create!  Good luck!

Hello and welcome

May be an image of text that says "STONS Everything We Celebrate! Christmas, Easter, New Year's, Valentine's, St. .Patrick's Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Canada Day, Fourth of July, Hallowe'en, Birthdays, Birth, Wedding, Anniversary, Thanks, Sympathy, Congrats And so many more occasions WWC330- Heidi's Challenge: All About Occasions"

I decided on another Christmas card featuring Newton’s Nook Christmas Kittens which I Distress watercoloured and fussy cut.

After die cuttig a frame from SSS – Stitched Rectangles I added a DP panel die cut with SSS – Star Parade and backed with silver foil card, so it looked like a string of fairy lights across the top.

A Christmas tree from Hero Arts – Monthly Hero kit was also watercoloured and fussy cut for the background.

Some stars were cut from glitter card stock using SSS – die.

Finally the sentiment is from the plus9 – Santa’s Reindeer set.

Joy to the World (HLS – Watercolour)

Hello and welcome

Today I’m back with HLS Watercolour Challenge for November, 2021. This year it’s Anything Goes so long as it features watercolour. So easy to join in!

This month I have a Christmas card to post. It features a recent purchase – Penny Black – Birdhouse Blessings stamp. This is such a sweet image.

After Distress watercolouring, the MFT – Stitched Circle Stax dies was used to cut the circle.

After attaching to the blue background, white pen and various Nuvo drops were used to add some dimension to the panel.

The sentiment strip was cut using Paper Rose – Banner set and the sentiment is from a very old wood block stamp.

Another card ready for Christmas !

Please head over to our blog and check out the wonderfully inspirational work by the rest of the Design Team!  I hope you will find the time to join our challenge this month.

I look forward to seeing what you create!  Good luck!
