Today’s card features this fun PB – The Lookout stamp. An old favourite.

I’m back with another non- Halloween card! 🙂 I used the Bingo prompts. So be sure to enter even if Halloween is not for you!!

After stamping and Distress Ink watercolouring, the main image was cut using a circle die. The pot of flowers was stamped again and fussy cut.

It was added to a square card base along with a strip of dark blue card. Wink of Stella gave the curtain and the flowers a bit of shimmer! So difficult to see but pretty IRL!

Make a Wish

Hello and welcome

Today I am sharing a background I made after watching a video by Jennifer McGuire.

I started by ink blending Distress inks, then blended over a variety of stencils using different colours. To finish I stamped a floral image and stencilled some past in sections.

I was so pleased with how pretty it looked.

After adding to the card front, I added the sentiment die from IO dies and a narrow strip of silver card to finish the edges.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit.  I love to read your comments.

Have a good day and stay safe!

Less is More #494 -May today be filled with SUNSHINE

Hello and welcome

Happy Saturday everyone. It’s time for a new challenge over at LIM. The challenge is to create using the theme: One Layer Card – Hell0 Sunshine.

This week it is a ONE LAYER card so I started by stamping the pup from SSS Chillin’ Frenchies. I fell in love with these fun pups when it came out in 2019.

After stamping the area was masked off and ink blended using a sunray stencil before the cool pup was watercoloured.

It was then time to stamp the sentiments – SSS – Circle Sayings, MFT – Sweet Forest Friends and

Today’s card features this very cute PB – Hopping By stamp. An old favourite.

I don’t celebrate Halloween so decided to work with the Bingo game to create a birthday card.

After watercolouring and fussy cuttin it was added to the panel die cut using PB – Simple Stackers die set.

The balloon is from MFT – Blueprint 16 die set and the die cut sentiment is PB – Sweet Wishes die.

The sentiment is an old one from Verve stamps that I’ve had for years.

Love & hugs (HLS – Watercolour Challenge)

Hello again

Welcome to a new challenge at HLS Watercolour Challenge for october 2023. As always it’s Anything Goes with the option this month of Tropical. Just be sure it features watercolour. So easy to join in!

My card features HA – Swirl Stencil, then second generation stamping of HA – Friendship background stamp. The edges were inked in Sotress inl.

HA – Sunburst Bold Print was heat embossed onto vellum and trimmed.

HA – Floral Rose stem was heat embossed and watercoloured using Distress ink before being fussy cut and added to a circle die cut featuring matching stencilling, a sentiment from the set as well as some gold thread.

(This little stamp set is a firm favourite since I purchased it about 3 or 4 years ago. I’ve used it on so many cards and tags.)

The circle lies up with the circle vellum.
