My card features PB – Furry Flight stamp set, stamped and Distress watercoloured. This is another stamp I’ve loved since I bought it maybe 3 years ago, but this is the first time I’ve used it! I’m so pleased!!

The sentiment is from PB – Sprinkles & Smiles sentiment set.

Less is More #479- Hey… Happy Birthday!

Hello and welcome

Happy Saturday everyone. It’s time for a new challenge over at LIM. The challenge is to create using the theme: One Layer Card – Anything Goes.

For today’s card I had fun playing with an Impression Obsession stamp set – Mini Peekers! They are such sweet and realistic images of this cute cat and a lovely pup. I’ve had with set in my stash for too long ( maybe 3 years), so now I’ve finally inked it!!!

After stamping. the image was watercoloured simply with Distress inks.

The “Hey” comes from the same set and the HP comes from SSS – Circle Sayings set.

Bundle of Joy (HLS – Dies)

We’re back with the first challenge for 2023, over at Happy Little Stampers –  Anything Goes with Dies – March.   As always, anything goes in this challenge. So, I hope you’ll find time in  your busy life to join in the fun this month!

I’m sharing a baby card a friend asked me to make.

It uses MFT Alphabet dies and SSS – String of Hearts. All old dies but much loved and used.

The little images are from various cheap store sets (again very old) watercoloured and fussy cut.

I also added some white Nuevo drops.

Cut it Up Challenge #273 

Just swingin’ by to say Happy Birthday

Hello and welcome

I am posting a fun birthday card I made for a very special little boy. I hope he likes it!

The HA – Jungle Frame Fancy die was cut twice and watercoloured using various mediums to get the variation of colour of wanted. It was then sprayed with Sparkle spray to add more interest.

Hero Arts – Thanks a Bunch Monkeys monkeys and vines were stamped and copic coloured before being fussy cut.

I also made a back panel with ink blending of Distress inks before being sprayed with sparkle.

Next was making the frame to fit the jungle die and the sentiment added to the front.

The back of the card was cut larger and had folds to make it sit up. (see Jennifer McGuire).

The green panel was added to the back of the card. The first die cut was added behind the frame then a second was added to the back with raised tape, slightly offset to give dimension. This was then added to the card back.

Lastly, the monkeys were added.

I had lots of fun with this one.

Just For You (PB Saturday Challenge)

I don’t really make Easter cards, but I thnk this sweet PB image fits the theme well.

After stamping the sweet PB For Goodness Sake image, it was Distress watercoloured. It was added to the Stamp Frame Die – from Catchy Crafts.

The sentiment is from PB – Key to My Heart stamp set.

To finish I added a red twine bow.

Hello again

The new year is well underway and time for the next another project over at  Love to Craft! Challenge. As always  LTCCB challenge this month is Anything Goes. The challenges goes for 6 weeks. So for this challenge from March 1 to April 15 2023.

I hope you don’t mind but here is another of the diaries I have painted for 2023.
I always love pansies. They are so sweet. I chose more soft colours for these pansies.
I’m pleased to say the recipient loves it too.

Happy Birthday (HLS – Watercolour)

Hello again

Welcome to the first challenge of the year, at HLS Watercolour Challenge for March 2023. As always it’s Anything Goes so long as it features watercolour. So easy to join in!

My card is a fun birthday card I created for a friend.

To start I added Distress inks to the Sizzix embossing folder, and spraying with water before running through the diecutting machine.

It was then trimmed and added to the card front.

For fun I added some playing cards under the die cut sentiment.
