Less is More #486 – Vrooming By To Say …

Hello and welcome

Happy Saturday everyone. It’s time for a new challenge over at LIM. The challenge is to create using the theme: Anything Goes – Keep it CAS.

My card features a fun little stamp fro Gerda Steiner Designs – Vrooming By!

After watercolouring with Distress Inks and Tombow markers, the image was fussy cut and Glossy Accents was added to the helmet and nose for a bit of fun!

The backgrounds were cut using MFT – Stitched Basic Edges die and Stitched Rectangle die.

The sentiments are from the same stamp set.

Less is More 485 – Hello

Hello and welcome

Happy Saturday everyone. It’s time for a new challenge over at LIM. The challenge is to create using the theme: Colour Challenge – Black & Light Purple.

I had been playing with inking tissue paper and had done some a light purple, so it inspired my design.

First is was a matter of cutting circles from a piece of black and a piece of white cardstock. The white piece slightly larger.

From black card I cut on of my favourites – Memory Box – Shrewsbury Stem and Script Hello. Each were then heat embossed 4 times with clear embossing powder so they were raised and super shiney.

The tissue paper was added to the card front, before the adding the stems and card panels.

Finally the ‘hello’ was added at the bottom.

I love the way the soft pastel purple really helps the die cuts to ‘pop’!

Hello and welcome

We’re back with a new challenge over at Happy Little Stampers –  Anything Goes with Dies – June .   As always, anything goes in this challenge. So, I hope you’ll find time in  your busy life to join in the fun this month!

I started by cutting the stitched circles from the card front.

Then the sweet images from MFT – Otterly Love You set were stamped where the circles were on the back section. Then copic coloured.

The sentiment and MFT – banner die was also added.

It was then time to fill small clear sealeable bags with a little greenish coloured wet look hair gel, then sealed and attached on the background over the images.

Raised tape was added to support the card front before it was added.

I love the way the gel moves around and forms air bubbles as you touch the panel to resemble the otters playing in the water.

I was thrilled to have my card selected as a favourite over at Newton’s Nook Challenge – Inky Paws Challenge. I would especially like to thank Debbie for her very kind words.

Debbie loves how Moments of Crafting created a rainbow of fruity cocktails!.  These colorful drinks were created using the Cocktail Mixer stamp set. The water coloring beneath them was a fabulous way to continue the rainbow theme!

A huge thanks to everyone over at AAA Birthday for selecting my card in their TOP 4! Much appreciated!!

I’m back with the June Challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge!  The theme  is  Anything Goes (Optional – Masculine).

As usual, we are sponsored by the awesome

My card features PB – Sunny Days stamp set. Such fun images just perfect for those difficult make cards!!

After copic colouring, I added the largest photo frame from Kaisercraft – Decorative Die -Polaroid .

I was lucky enough to have a scrap of DP with speech bubbles on it. Super fun! So I selected one and fussy cut to add to the front!! ( I was thinking of a friend who loves fishing!!)

The ‘Memories’ die cut is from MFT – Magical Memories die set.

The small greeting is from the original PB stamp set.

Welcome to a new challenge at HLS Watercolour Challenge for June 2023. As always it’s Anything Goes with the option this month of BRIGHT. Just be sure it features watercolour. So easy to join in!

My card features HA – Daisy & Bugs stamp set. After stamping and Distress watercoloured, they were fussy cut.

The black background was clear embossed using the same beautiful daisy image.

The sentiments come from HA – ‘Decorate a Cake’ and ‘High Heels’ stamp sets.
