Joy (PB Saturday Challenge)

Hello and welcome

I’m back with a reminder for the December Challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge! The theme is Anything Goes (Optional ‘Food’)

As usual, we are sponsored by the awesome

I decided to make a fun birthday card today.

I decided to play with my Prisma Color Pencils for this sweet kraft card using PB – Hedgy Joy stamp.

To finish I added some Jelly Roll pen for a little shine.

I think it’s super sweet.

We’re back with the last challenge for 2022 over at Happy Little Stampers – Anything Goes with Dies – December. As always, anything goes in this challenge. So, I hope you’ll find time in your busy life to join in the fun this month!

I used some papers I had coloured using

My card uses a piece of cardstock coloured with Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powder in Lava red which gives such a wonderful shimmer and shine.

Sizzix – Festive Bird die was cut once from the coloured card and once from glossy white card stock. The coloured pieces were inset into the bauble and the to was added from gold card.

To finish I added a sheer bow and a simple sentiment from PB – Nature’s Allure stamp set.

Using raised tape it was then added to the card front covered with Sizzix – Christmas Embossing Folder.

Joyous Wishes … Season’s Greetings (PB Saturday Challenge)

Hello and welcome

I’m back with the December Challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge! The theme is Anything Goes (Optional – Christmas).

As usual, we are sponsored by the awesome

I started by stamping the image from PB – Nature’s Allure stamp set.

After making a mask for the bird and pine cones, I ink blended the top section of the card using Distress inks. Then splattered with some Glimmer Mist.

It was then time to Distress watercolour the sweet image, then adding some Gelly Roll pen for some sparkle.

The sentiments are from the same set.

I loved making a Christmas card that didn’t use the traditional animals. I love the fresh look of the blues and teal greens with this sweet little bird .

Merry Little Christmas (HLS – Watercolour)

Hello again

It’s the first of the month, so time for HLS Watercolour Challenge for December 2022. As always it’s Anything Goes so long as it features watercolour. So easy to join in! This is our last challenge for 2022 and will return in March 2023.

Where has the year gone!! Christmas will be here before we know it!

For that reason I have decided to make a Christmas card. Certainly needed for my stash. 😊

It features one of my favourite Colorado Craft images – Christmas Tree Cat. My daughter brought home a new kitten this time last year, so no Christmas tree last year. This year I am taking down a little tree I have so we can see how she goes!! Maybe just like the image! Fingers crossed!!!

The image was watercoloured using Distress inks with a little Gelly Roll pen for sparkle!!
