Hello and welcome
Believe it or not Watercooler Wednesday has reached it’s 200th Challenge!!!!! A great milestone!
I am thrilled to host this very special challenge! So lucky!!!! This week is an All About Occasions Challenge! So much to choose from!
Still in the middle of Christmas cards, I decided to change things up a bit!
My Christmas card features Art Impressions ‘Udderly Fantastic Set’ I thought it would be great fun to see those cows enjoying the Christmas season! They’re not traditional Christmas but in this scene, they fit so well with the celebrations! Don’t you agree?
After Distress water colouring and adding Wink of Stella ( gold and clear), they were fussy cut.
The window frame is from Mama Elephant. The sky behind was a scrap from my box the Santa and sleigh (from an old cheap wood block stamp) added. It was then attached to the background paper on the card front.
The tree was another one of my earliest wood block stamps, which was water coloured, fussy cut, and had gel pen ornaments added. It was then attached with foam tape.
The banner is an old Papermania Urban Stamp set – ’12 Days of Christmas’, fussy cut and added across the window with foam tape. The holly at the ends is from a mini set from Docrafts – ‘Christmas Cake’ and fussy cut. The same was used for the cow’s head dress.
The other cow had a Santa hat added – again an old wood block stamp by a local girl.
An old wood block present stamp was coloured and cut up to get 2 presents for under the tree.
The pierced MFT rectangle frame had fun foam added and attached to the scene.
Finally, the dancing cows were added, again with foam tape.
Such a long post! Sorry!
I hope my card brings a smile to your day!
Please be sure to visit our blog and for more inspiration from our Design Team. I can’t wait to see what you create for this special challenge!
Thanks so much for visiting. Have a great day!
Cheers
Helen

Wow, Helen, you’ve assembled a winning bunch of stamps to create this wonderfully framed Christmas card. I can’t begin to mention every single thing that catches my eye and makes me love this card. Suffice to say, there is nothing that doesn’t appeal to me. You’ve done a remarkable piece of work here, Helen, not only in creating this fun and happy scene but also in colouring each image so that it all comes to life. I would have this in a shadow frame to display each and every Christmas.
