Hello and welcome to our next Watercooler Wednesday – Anything Goes – Challenge. is our wonderful host this week.
My card features this beautiful Penny Black -Slapstick – Gentle Whisper stamp. I just love this beautiful image and it makes it so easy to colour.
This time I coloured the image with Distress ink and sprayed it very lightly with water before stamping on watercolour paper. It is then only a matter of working with water and a brush to pull the colour out to form the flowers and leaves. Where I felt it needed a bit more colour, I added it with a brush.
After adding a few black splatters, I added the Hero Arts wood block stamp – Poetic Prints – Chinese Happiness Wish in black ink. It was finished with a black card cut from My Favorite Things – Die Stitched Basic Edges.
Thanks so much for stopping in. Please remember to check out the wonderful work on our blog.
I hope you can join in our challenge this week.
Enjoy
Helen
