Thanks so much to Sue over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge for selecting my card as her favourite pick!
Hello and welcome
It’s time for the next challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday. This week it’s Michelle’s Feminine “Anything Goes” Challenge.
I hope you can find the time to join in.
This week I had lots of fun playing with Penny Black’s ‘Tea Time’ stamp set. I just love PB images.
I started by stamping the image in Antique Linen Distress Ink on to some water colour paper. I decided the cup was a bit plain, so I searched through my stamps till I found some tiny flowers from Altnew’s ‘Moments In Time’
Altnew’s water colours were used for watercolouring with the addition of some pencil for a few final details. Wink of Stella was added to the aqua parts of the cup and saucer and gold Jelly Roll pen was added to the rim of both as well as the flower centres and the dots on the sentiment.
After stamping the sentiment above the cup, the image was cut using the second largest MFT ‘Jumbo Fishtail Banner’ die.
The front panel was a neutral cardstock stamped with Penny Black’s ‘Trailing Beauty stamp using Hero Arts White ink.
Once this panel was attached to the top fold card front, the banner was attached on 3 sides. The top was left open so you could add a gift card or a tea/ coffee bag before sending it to a friend.
Don’t forget to head over to our blog to check out the wonderful inspiration from the rest of our Design Team.
I look forward to seeing what you create this week!
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit. I love to read your comments.
Have a great day
Cheers
Helen
