Thank You (Penny Black Saturday Challenge)

Hello and welcome

I’m back with the new  Penny Black Saturday November Challenge! This month the theme is  Anything Goes (Optional – ‘Bingo / Tic-Tac-Toe!).  I hope you have a chance to join in the fun!

This month I decided to select Die Cut / Embossing / CAS . It also works for Lots of Layers / PB Stamp / Embossing.

I used a PB Die – Framed Flowers. It is one of my early purchases. It was cut once from black and once from white card

A panel of white was ink blended with Distress Inks, then splattered with water to give texture and flicked with glittery gold.

The die cuts were glued together leaving a slight white shadow on the black.

It was then glued to the inked panel leaving a small border.

The sentiment is part of one from the PB – heartfelt sentiment stamp set. I first stamped it in black ink and then with Versa Mark and heat embossed with clear powder in the bottom corner of the card front. It gives a lovely shine.

Two strips of black card were cut and added to the card front leaving a border top, bottom and sides.

The panel was then added centred over the back strips using raised tape.
