Hello and welcome
I’m back with the November Challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge! The theme is Anything Goes (Optional – ‘Glitter & Glitz’.
As usual, we are sponsored by the awesome
Today’s card features this beautiful PB – Glory of Modesty. It is so very pretty and I fell in love the first time I saw it years ago.
I started by wiping some Distress inks in patches over the stamp then spritzed it with Perfect Pearls water before stamping on the card front. It made a wonderful shiny background.
Next was adding a small amount of inks to highlight the shapes of the tiny flowers. To finish, a small dot of gold mettacllic ink was added for the flower centres.
The sentiment is from PB – Special Thoughts stamp set, gold heat embossed on vellum added to the card with a fine strip of gold paper.
I decided to leave it plain and simple so the pretty background is the feature.
