Time Out Challenge #256

I would like to say a huge thank you to the team over at Stay Crafty with Hero for selecting my card as Winner of their  Stay Crafty with Hero – January 2024 Challenge – everything old is new again! I am thrilled!

Hello and welcome

Here is the new challenge over at Time Out Challenges! – Inspired by Words.

CASE The Designer Sarah Gray – former Time Out DT Member and owner of Funky Fossil Designs.

Our wonderful sponsor is Funky Fossil Designs.   They’re generously offering a £25.00 store credit which must be used within 90 days.

I had lots of ideas around with this fun design and I finally decided on some butterflies.

After adding some ink smooches and adding a little light stamping with HA – Friends text stamp and some circcles form HA – Mixed Design Borders to complete my corner background.

The butterflies from HA – Antique Engraving stamp set were black heat embossed and watercoloured before being fussy cut.

The sentiment stamp and die came from HA – Flowers and Bees set.

I was happy with the way it turned out. A great CASE challenge.

Please head over to our blog to  check out the wonderfully inspirational work by the rest of the Design Team!  I hope you will find the time to join our challenge this month.

I look forward to seeing what you create!  Good luck!

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit.  I love to read your comments and will be sure to check out your blog.

I hope you all have a chance to enjoy some crafting time.

Cheers

Helen

SSS Wednesday Challenge – Anything Goes

Author: momentsofcrafting

I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and daughter. Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and have enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and painting. China painting helped develop my understanding of colour and design. Over the last few years card making has taken up a major part of my crafting time as I love to play with new techniques and mediums. Since beginning my blog, entering various challenges has encouraged me to grow my skills and creativity.

  3. Your card is absolutely gorgeous, Helen. Your inking in the corners with Sarah’s colors looks fabulous, and the contrast of the bolder colored butterflies outlined in black really pop. Your sentiment goes perfectly. What a wonderful creation!
